frequently asked questions
- Can anyone become a Driving Instructor?
No. You must have held a valid UK drivers licence for at least 4 years. You also should be of a good character and able to supply two independent references.
- How long does it take to qualify?
Well the main time consumer is the actual test dates that the DSA supply. Currently most tests are subject to a two month waiting time. As there are three tests to qualify then 6 months really is the minimum it will take. Interestingly you also can not just take your time in passing as there is a two year window to qualify starting from the date you pass the first exam.
- What are the exams I need to pass?
