Before The Driving Training Centre, most people
studied for the theory and hazard
perception test themselves. This
method of study is only effective if you have time and self discipline to
study in order to pass the test. The pass rate for this method of
study is only 56%.
Doing a DTC Theory Course is both time and cost effective as you will pass
the test in three weeks with no additional expenditure for study material.

Why Pay - When other Driving Schools offer it for free?
You may come across other Driving Schools who offer this service for free. When enquiring you should ask the following questions;
- Does the Driving School have a classroom? If not, ask where the training is given. Most Driving Schools will offer you the training during your lesson. You pay for your lessons, so the question you have to ask is "Is the theory training really FREE?". Secondly, if they do have a classroom, is there a dedicated Instructor who will take you through the complete DSA Theory Syllabus from start to finish?

Saving You Money Too!
When you enrol on our Theory Course, you don’t have to buy additional books because we supply all the material you need to pass the test. We also have special copyright usage of the Highway Code, which we use in our own course material. We will also save you money on additional test fees, as the majority of our pupils pass first time.
How The Theory Course Works!
The Theory Course is carried out over a one week period. You will attend three 2 and a half hour sessions in the evening. For the weekend or fast rack course, you will attend a 4 hour session. You will be taught on all subjects needed to pass the test. Additionally we cover subjects that we believe will give you a better chance on the DSA Practical Driving Test.
